TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CACTUS VILLAGE PENIDA

Special internet rates are only valid for bookings made through www.cactusvillagepenida.com.
All rates are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and billing will be processed in IDR.
Room rates are inclusive of taxes and service charges, unless otherwise specified.
Prices indicated are per villa, based on the number of guests and dates selected.
Breakfast inclusion depends on the selected rate plan. BB (Bed and Breakfast) rate plans include breakfast. RO (Room Only) rate plans do not include breakfast in the price.
Additional services (airport transfers, babysitting, etc.) are optional and subject to additional charges unless selected as part of a package.
Special group rates (minimum of 5 villas) are available upon request at cactusvillagepenida@gmail.com.
Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Extra Bed: An extra bed charge applies for any person exceeding the standard room occupancy. A maximum of one extra bed is allowed per villa.
Facilities: Some villa facilities are free of charge, while others are subject to a fee. Please consult the staff to avoid misunderstandings.
Baby Cots: Available at no extra cost. Please notify the reservation department in advance.

To confirm a reservation, a prepayment is required according to the selected offer.
Making a prepayment constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this document.
Guests are advised to choose their offer and cancellation policy carefully, as paid deposits and prepayments are non-refundable.
Non-refundable Offer: A full prepayment of 100% of the total reservation value is charged at the moment of booking.
Refundable Offer: A deposit of 50% of the total reservation value is required. Free cancellation is available up to 30 days before arrival. If cancelled after this period, the 50% deposit will be forfeited.
Failure to pay the deposit or prepayment within the agreed timeframe will result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation.

Non-refundable Offer: Any cancellation, modification, or No-Show at any time will result in a 100% penalty. The full amount of the reservation is non-refundable.
Refundable Offer: Cancellations or modifications made more than 30 days before arrival are free of charge, and the contract is terminated without penalty. If cancelled or modified within 30 days of arrival, or in case of a No-Show, a charge of 50% of the total reservation value will apply.
Early Departure: Shortening the stay after check-in does not entitle the guest to any refund. The full amount of the original reservation will be charged.

Cactus Village Penida shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, severe weather conditions, transportation disruptions, or acts of God.
In such circumstances, no refund or compensation will be provided by Cactus Village Penida. Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, delays, and interruptions caused by events outside the control of either party.
This clause applies regardless of the rate plan selected (Non-refundable or Refundable). Examples of force majeure events include, but are not limited to: flight cancellations by airlines, port or ferry closures, extreme weather preventing travel to Nusa Penida, government-imposed lockdowns or travel bans, and natural disasters.

To confirm an online reservation, the guest is required to make the payment within one hour of booking:
1. Non-refundable offers: 100% of the total reservation value is required.
2. Refundable offers: 50% of the total reservation value is required (if the booking is made within 30 days of the check-in date).
Payments are processed via the Doku.com system available in the booking panel.
Online reservations are subject to the same cancellation and complaint procedures as other booking methods.

The credit card used for the reservation must be valid for the entire stay and presented upon check-in.
For third-party bookings, Cactus Village Penida will arrange separate billing.
We accept: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and Amex.
Bank transfers are accepted. A copy of the proof of payment must be emailed to cactusvillagepenida@gmail.com.
In the unlikely event of overbooking or unforeseen circumstances preventing the villa from honoring a reservation, the property will arrange comparable accommodation and transportation at its own expense.

Check-in: From 3:00 PM local time.
Check-out: By 11:00 AM local time.
Early Check-in: Subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Late Check-out: Subject to availability. Check-out until 6:00 PM is charged at 50% of the daily room rate. Check-out after 6:00 PM is charged as a full 1-night stay.

Children aged 0-3 years: Say free of charge when sharing the parents villa.
Children aged 4-10 years: Charged at a reduced rate per night.
Children aged 11 years and above: Charged at the full adult rate.
A maximum of one child may share the parents’ room, unless otherwise specified.
Babysitting services are available at an additional cost and require advance notice.

Pets of any kind are strictly not allowed on the property.
Guests found to have brought a pet onto the premises may be asked to make alternative arrangements for the animal or, in severe cases, may be asked to vacate the villa without refund.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the villas, including all interior rooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
Guests may smoke only on the designated terrace or in outdoor areas of the villa.
A cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of indoor smoking is found. The fee will be determined by the property management based on the extent of cleaning required.
This policy applies to cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and any other smoking materials.

Guests are fully responsible for any damage, breakage, or loss caused to the villa, its furniture, fixtures, fittings, equipment, or any other property belonging to Cactus Village Penida during their stay.
Any damage must be reported to the property management immediately upon discovery.
The cost of repair or replacement will be assessed by the property management and charged to the guest’s credit card on file, or collected in cash prior to check-out.
Cactus Village Penida reserves the right to pursue additional compensation through legal means if the damage cost exceeds the amount held on deposit or charge.
Normal wear and tear is not considered damage and will not be charged to guests.

Cactus Village Penida is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings, valuables, or vehicles during their stay.
Guests are advised to use the in-villa safe for valuables and to exercise reasonable care with their personal property.
Guests are encouraged to arrange appropriate personal travel insurance prior to arrival to cover any potential loss or damage to personal belongings.
